As a Commercial Manager you are given the opportunity to make your mark in the subsea cable and pipeline trenching industry. In the role of Commercial Manager you are responsible for setting up a completely new network and to implement the sales strategy for trenching activities. We are looking for a social, service oriented and eager to learn team player with an ambition to grow within the Boskalis Subsea Cables Commercial department. Your responsibilities** **as a Commercial Manager are: - Building up a network for trenching market developments and new business opportunities. - As a Commercial Manager you are a key member of our tender team and ultimately responsible for developing a strategy to win. - Your main focus is finding opportunities / prospects and follow them throughout the tender process with the aim to sign a contract at the end. Your qualities -------------- You can make your mark as a Commercial Manager if you will have: - At least a higher professional education, technical specialization. - At least 3 years relevant work experience as a Commercial Manager, it would be useful if you are already familiar with the trenching or cable industry, however this is not a necessity for the role. - You are eager to learn about the cable and pipeline market and in particular trenching technology. - We expect you to commit yourself to this industry to bring it to the next level. - No problem travelling (mainly within Europe and occasionally to Middle East or US) on a fairly regular basis . - A good command of written and spoken English. Approximately two days a week you will be travelling abroad (mostly within Europe).
