Visual UX DesignerAdding value to our user experience by designing simple, uncomplicated and easy to use visual interfaces.What will your job be   like as Visual UX Designer?At Océ, Visual Designers have the responsibility for the GUI designs in our products. They create an attractive and unified user experience that delivers a seamless flow to our customers and users. The Visual UX Designer helps the user to successfully use our products by incorporating a consistent UI style.You work intensively with Interaction Designers on the development of concepts for the user interfaces of our software products and devices. You create appealing graphics, dynamic transitions and translate designs into a style guide or a specification. Moreover, you make sure all concepts are aligned over all products and devices. Together with developers you check your designs are correctly implemented and are within the technical constraints.You are sensitive to ‘the latest and greatest’ in the world, translating trends into an inspiring vision for future development of visualizations and user experience. You are able to push the visual style forward and create patterns within brand standards.Responsibilities
Design digital products and create, together with your peers, a unique Design SystemCreate innovative and engaging productsTranslate trends into functional conceptsDeliver a seamless flow to our customers and usersHelp our users to successfully use our products via color, iconography, typography, etc.Make sure your designs are correctly implementedCommunicate and present effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field with focus on Visual User Experience design (e.g., interaction design, industrial design, service design or visual communication)5 years of relevant experienceProficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD or Sketch, Axure)Eye for detailFamiliar with technical constraints and limitations within Web development (to name a few: responsive design, dynamic transitions)Familiarity with agile processes is a preExcellent problem-solving skillsTeam player, entrepreneurial, strive for quality and able to set the priorities rightAbility to deal with uncertainty and complexityStrong communication skills and happy to work in cross-functional teamsFluent in English, verbal and written. Profound knowledge of Dutch is a plusEligible to work in the NetherlandsAvailable for 32-40 hours per week
