We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our Powerwall Engineering team. In this role, you will lead engineering activities to support sales, deployment, and development of Tesla residential energy products, focusing on Powerwall and associated services in the EMEA region. You will work closely together with the sales and service teams, and you will act as the key link between the EMEA region and US engineering teams.

To be successful in this role, you have solid electrical engineering skills and an in-depth understanding of low-voltage residential, commercial installations and distribution systems. You can work on a wide range of engineering tasks and have the knowledge and experience to work in an independent role.
Contribute to product and market development by identifying technical and regulatory requirements for existing and new marketsCoordinate testing for new products and new markets and develop relevant technical content and training materialCollect market feedback to improve the customer and installer experienceProvide engineering support during the sales process ensuring an excellent product fitDeliver recommendations for the design and integration of large and complex sites and projects utilizing third party controllers and serviceSupport the installation- and commissioning of complex systems by liaising with contractors, installers, and customersAssist technical support teams with troubleshooting and customer escalations5+ years of relevant work experience with the design, installation, testing and commissioning of residential and commercial electrical systemsBackground in electrical engineering with extensive knowledge in control systems, data communication systems, local electrical codes, and grid-connection regulationsProficient with coding and data analytics in PythonExcellent English written and verbal communication skillsAble to build strong relationships with internal and external customersDetail-oriented, self-sufficient, resourceful, and able to manage shifting prioritiesKnowledge of health and safety management would be highly beneficialFlexible towards regular business travelWebsiteklik hier voor meer.
