We provide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.
Functieomschrijving
• Responsible for all preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, daily routines per checklist, and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment and systems on board (eg power supplies, supplies appliances, switchgear, regulators, heaters, transformers, electrical motors, pumps, generators , alternators and electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems and other related devices) complying with the company standards and applicable regulations.
• Performs necessary work, control and inspections in order to maintain the relevant certificates and comply with applicable regulations.
• Ensures that all work assigned to him/her is prepared, risk assessed, and carried out in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the safety system, and instructions of the Chief Electrician.
• Ensures up-to-date knowledge and familiarization of the unit, it's operations, safety measures, procedures, and regulations.
• Assists in requisition and purchase of electronic spares and consumables.
Functie-eisen
• Electrical education (MBO/vocational education).
• General electrician experience > 5 years.
• Seafarer's / Marine / Offshore Oil & Gas experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with best practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as coöperate and successfully plan and complete assigned tasks in an efficiënt and safe way by confidently working with adequate materials, tools, (measurement) equipment and procedures.
• Able to manage the operation of, and perform routine maintenance & trouble shoot on electrical and electronic (safety) systems, control equipment, and other electrical jobs (eg, power systems, switch boards, computer/network systems, communication systems).
• Languages: Fluent in English.
