You will develop an application used exclusively by the engineers and geologists for site characterizations, which imports raw field and laboratory measurements for further processing, integration, ground modelling, and geotechnical analysis and reporting.The client/server application is entirely written in Java, and the server is hosted in the Amazon cloud, utilizing frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, and connected to an MS SQL Server RDS instance. There is a trend towards using more cloud technology.FunctieomschrijvingAs the Lead Java Developer in one of our teams
• you will contribute to all phases of the product's development
• Organize your team's daily stand-up meetings and serve as the team's coach. As the lead developer, you maintain track of other developers' architectural questions, assist them as needed, and set boundaries for them;
• Keep up to date with all relevant software developmentâ&#128;¯technologies;â&#128;¯â&#128;¯
• Provide field support asâ&#128;¯required;â&#128;¯
• Strive for continuous improvements.
