Run and Gun is een nieuw collectief van filmmakers, schrijvers, editors, camera operators en ga zo maar door uit de regio Amsterdam gericht op startende filmmakers.
We cateren expliciet niet voor de gevestigde orde, maar willen een collectief zijn voor hobbyisten die samen meer willen doen met hun passie.
Niet dat gevestigde filmmakers en professionals niet welkom zijn om hun kennis en apparatuur ;-) te delen, maar onze focus ligt op enthousiaste mensen met passie voor film die net beginnen, vroeger in de business werkten en een camera op willen pakken of gewoon eens willen ontdekken of de filmwereld iets voor hun is.
Plannen voor de, nabije, toekomst zijn een gedeelde studio, (uit)lenen van apparatuur, leren en helpen van elkaar, samen projecten opzetten, korte films maken, een YouTube kanaal voor tips, reviews en ga zo maar door.
We zijn op zoek naar mensen die serieus mee willen doen met het collectief alsmede editors voor website en facebook, techneuten en vooral mensen van alle leeftijden met passie voor film en mooie dingen maken.
Natuurlijk richten we ons niet alleen op Amsterdam en zal veel samenwerking en opbouw in het begin online plaatsvinden dus iedereen is, ongeacht woonplaats welkom. Wel zal de studio in de buurt van Amsterdam komen dus hou rekening met mogelijk reistijd in de toekomst.

Run and Gun is a new collective of filmmakers, writers, editors, camera operators and so on from the Amsterdam region aimed at starting filmmakers.
We explicitly do not cater for the established order, but want to be a collective for hobbyists who, together want to do more with their passion.
Not that established filmmakers and professionals are not welcome to share their knowledge and equipment ;-), but our focus is on enthusiastic people with a passion for film who are just starting out, used to work in the business and want to pick up a camera or who just want to discover whether the film world is for them.
Plans for the near future include a shared studio, equipment lending for members, learning from and helping each other, setting up projects together, making short films, a YouTube channel for tips, reviews and so on.
We are looking for people who are serious about joining the collective, editors for website and facebook, techies and above all people of all ages with a practical passion for film and for creating beautiful things.
Of course we do not only focus on Amsterdam and most of the colabs and building the collective will be done online in the beginning so everyone is welcome wherever you live. Most likely the studio will be near Amsterdam so keep possible travel in the future in.
