As a Technical Assistant Mechanical, you’ll be responsible for delivering rapid mechanical prototyping services to a diverse set of clients in Signify Innovation and Businesses.

What you’ll do
Make parts and build prototypes in close cooperation with Research and Development engineers.Engage with the Research and Development engineers to help make the parts and tooling for the new products and developmentsPerform hands-on work with mechanical tools and equipment to enable rapid prototyping of models, mock-ups, tooling, etcPerform as a team player and support the team in applying a lean way of working to increase the agility and efficiency of the teamWork with external suppliers in case we need capabilities or capacity that we do not have in-house
Your qualifications
MTS Degree (Precision)Mechanics or equivalent, relevant work experience is a plusHands-on experience in Mechanical domain (Milling, Turning, Drilling, Welding, Cutting, etc.)Team player with organizational and social skills;Experience with CAD mechanical software packages (e.g. Autocad Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge)Aspiration and potential to lead the mechanical workspace in the nearby futureExperience with material ordering and machine maintenance plans a plus
