Job Introduction
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional hotel supervisor who performs routine monitoring and support duties of Room Attendants cleaning guest rooms.
A Housekeeping Supervisor is a professional who monitors the work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure that they are providing a clean, orderly, and attractive environment for guests. They assign duties accordingly while inspecting all aspects to make sure everything meets industry standards and keeps an eye on customer satisfaction.
Location
You are a team member of the Puur Schoon crew at the Marriott Hotel in Amsterdam.
Role responsibilities
Write open en-closing reports and report of irregularities to the Puur Schoon Office CoordinatorTo ensure that the guests get the housekeeping service they paid for Prioritize the rooms assigned to the Room Attendants on the listed floorsInspect the Room Attendants work to ensure it’s up to standard Reinforce work protocols and house rules Provide training on how to best handle customer’s requests.Conduct regular Room evaluations to monitor consistent quality Training and motivating team members To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations, the hotel’s housekeeping’s standards and people management abilities.
Requirements
Must be able to communicate in EnglishMinimum 1-year experience as a Supervisor in a Housekeeping environmentMinimum 1-year experience as a Room Attendant (preferred) Experience managing small teams Have experience to give clear and actional instructionsMust be willing to work some weekendsExpertise in problem-solving and providing quality guest serviceAn associate degree and a high school diploma in communication and hospitality (preferred)Attention to details and precisionA professional attitude and mannerThe capacity to maintain a positive outlook in a busy environment
