Our client is a worldwide and leading player in the Maritime & Offshore field. They work in transportation, installation and dismantling of heavy offshore constructions, like drilling platforms and windmills. Using large transport vessels they operate in areas that are increasingly challenging to access.

Functieomschrijving

For this client we are looking for an Installation Engineer, initially in the field of wind energy generation. You will be responsible for the preparations of big offshore projects, like heavy lift installations or the removal of these installations.

Your daily activities as an Installation Engineer will be:

An interface role between the Structural Engineers and Marine Engineers to exchange all the necessary information, on equipment and ensure efficiencyPresence at meetings with clients to collect all their specifications and wishes and help translate those into a clear scope of workReporting to the Project EngineerTransforming the gathered information into proceduresWriting the manuals needed for the execution of the offshore projectFulfulling an important role during the simulations of projects and responsible for the feedback of the results

Functie-eisen

The ideal profile of an Installation Engineer includes the following:

A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Maritime Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringA minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in engineering, project preparation and the execution of offshore projectsGood analytical, practical and pragmatical skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and spokenSupervisory skills to guide the less experienced engineersInterest in temporarily working offshore during the project executionA valid work permit and/or living in the Netherlands is required for this position

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

As an Installation Engineer you can expect the following labor conditions:

A salary ranging from €3.000,- to €6.000,- a month on fulltime basis, depending on your knowledge and experience30 days leave per annumLots of possibilities for personal and professional developmentA nice office in Leiden where you will work within an informal work environment and with international colleagues
