Functieomschrijving
The Mechanical (Static equipment) design engineer handles static equipment such as: pressure vessels, all types of heat exchangers (shell & tube, plate & frame, aircooled, spiral), towers including tower internals, storage tanks, silo’s, hoppers, bins, etc
• Specification of new Static equipment; preparation of discipline inquiry/order packages, technical bid evaluation, follow up of technical documentation and coordination with team members from the other disciplines like process, civil, piping, instrumentation & electrical and construction.
• Design of existing Static equipment to be modified
• Assistance to trouble shooting in existing installations
• Coordinate Mechanical (Static equipment) engineering activities performed by our central engineering office in India
• Contribution to project scope definition, performing front-end loading and detail engineering for site managed projects.
Functie-eisen
• Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years experience in the field of Mechanical (Static equipment) design engineering
• working for an “owner” (operating) company and/or an EPCM engineering company would be considered as an advantage.
• Ability to effectively work with a wide variety of people, including other disciplines and vendors.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Fluent in English
• Proficiently in the use of Microsoft software.
