They're looking for someone who is responsible for the end to end quality guarantee within Supply Chain, for the branche quality management change.
The Quality Technologist Foods Europe role works within a category organisation across the region. The Role implements and executes a consumer and customer focussed quality program well balanced with general business objectives (financial/technical). In addition, it supports regional innovation teams and Unilever manufacturing sites to resolve issues and to drive continuous improvement. Focus of the role will be on the support of innovation products in savoury and dressings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure active risk management, validation of specifications and agreement of reliable standards / tolerances in projects together with project teams, Marketing, R&D, Sourcing Units, and Marketing Sales Organisations to secure smooth quality implementation of priority projects in the supply chain. Visibility and presence at the Weena is very important.
- Continuously communicate and drive quality improvement programmes with Suppliers e.g. project Ozone, Sourcing units, and customer representatives as well as continuously strengthening the understanding and meaning of quality in the Category Organisation.
- Work closely with Procurement, Procurement Operations, and the HUB in managing and optimising raw and packaging material quality.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Development Team to protect and optimise the quality of products as part of SC optimisation projects.
Functie-eisen
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Quality within manufacturing or R&D.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to think and act at an academic level.
- Proven experience working in an international environment and recognized achievements in operational quality.
- Able to work organised and structured even when under pressure.
- Able to work autonomously
- Enjoys working in a target driven atmosphere.
- Education in Food Technology is preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are strongly preferred.
