The company has been in existence since 1734, initially as a sugar refinery in Rotterdam. A hundred years later, there were already five of them. The first steps towards portion packaging were taken in 1927 when sugar began to be packed in small bags. Since then, they have become indispensable! Today, the company sells approximately 7.5 billion portion packages annually to a wide range of customers. From catering establishments, catering companies, hospitals, and coffee roasters to airlines and wholesalers. These are no longer just sachets with sugar but also portion packages with sauces, pastes, and spices.
Functieomschrijving
As a production worker, you will participate in the production process by performing various tasks. This is a highly dynamic job! You will, for example, fill, seal, and label packaging. After the products are manufactured, the machines need to be cleaned for the next product and/or day. Then, the packed products must be placed on pallets for shipment. In the meantime, goods are also delivered, which you can receive and place in the designated area to maintain a tidy floor. In this role, you are an important and valued link in the company.
