Our client is a worldwide and leading player in the Maritime & Offshore field. They work in transportation, installation and dismantling of heavy offshore constructions, like drilling platforms and windmills. Using large transport vessels they operate in areas that are increasingly difficult to access.

Functieomschrijving

As a Project Engineer you will get the technical responsibility for a project. You will have a supervisory role within a team of Engineers. Initially you will start on wind energy projects, but later you will have the possibility to work on other projects as well.

Your daily activities as a Project Engineer will be:

Responsibility for the planning, coordination and control of the workLeading a team of EngineersKeeping track of the progress and the work that has been doneProviding feedback to the Installation EngineerReporting to the Project ManagerAttending meetings with clients about the technical aspects and progress of the project

Functie-eisen

The ideal profile of a Project Engineer includes the following qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringA minimum of 8 years of experience within Engineering, project preparation and the execution of Offshore projectsTechnical knowledge related to the energy market (Offshore)Experience as a supervisor within projectsGood analytical, practical and pragmatic skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both spoken and writtenGood supervisory skills and affinity to guide other EngineersInterest in temporarily working offshore during the project executionA valid work permit and/or living in the Netherlands is required for this position!!!

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

As an Project Engineer you can expect the following labor conditions:

A salary ranging from €3.200,- to €6.000,- a month on fulltime basis, depending on your knowledge and experience30 days leave per annumLots of possibilities for personal and professional developmentA nice office in Leiden where you’ll work within an informal work environment and with international colleagues
