The organisationThe Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center is an international multicultural organization and an integrated part of Daimler's Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales. Additionally, we take care of all kinds of enquiries about passenger cars, trucks and vans during our opening hours. That's why we live the brand's most important promise: The best or nothing.The functionThe project leader will be leading international projects, which implement solutions and methodologies that enable clients / business partners to optimize their business. He/she leads and guides several large projects and takes complete ownership on day to day issues related to the assigned tasks.The project leader will be working with international stakeholders and business partners, internal technical teams and external providers. He/she is responsible for setting up the project, organization of the project team, targets & milestones, planning, ensuring implementation of best practices while managing time, budget and quality borders.The PL reports to the Manager Roll-Out Implementation. Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage the project team to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery of all assigned tasksManage issues & risks, schedules & dependencies and budget in assigned projectsManage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost and quality parametersMonitor and evaluate project progress, maintain project documentation and provide status reports to team and stakeholdersActively contribute to continuous improvement of processes and proceduresMaintain a good working relationship with your colleagues, business partners, international stakeholders and providers throughout the entire Daimler organizationEnsure the roll-out and associated change management till a successful handover to line business is guaranteedPrepare project templates (according to the Houston standard) to ensure acceptance and alignment of all stakeholders involvedCommunicate project timelines to internal and external stakeholders and ensure adherence to milestones and assigned tasksEnable fact-based decision making by creating transparency through e.g. providing different scenarios for feasibility evaluationManage & execute standardized updates and ad-hoc analysis on project status
RequirementsWe are looking for professionals with a strong academic business background that are fluent in corporate language English combining project management with excellent stakeholder management skills and business knowledge.The ideal candidate is:

Further requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree, with additional project management certificatesAt least five years of professional experience in an international project management positionHave demonstrable and thorough knowledge of project management methodsNear native English language skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to provide project status and information to stakeholders and executivesMust be an influencer and decision maker to make critical decisions in a timely mannerStrong meeting facilitation and negotiation skillsExcellent analytic and interpersonal skills to influence and engage colleagues, along with a broad understanding of the businesses they supportAbility to balance the big picture with meeting the day-to-day needs of the organizationAbility to partner with both technical and non-technical peers and stakeholders, to interact with various levels of management, and to promote cross functional collaborationAbility to be flexible and work accurately and hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure, multi-tasking environment with changing prioritiesWillingness to travel (up to approx. 60%)
