You will be part of a small and enthusiastic site-based teamYou are involved in checking design documents and construction packages made by external design contractorsYou will actively participate in internal and external meetingsManaging parts of civil construction activitiesOverseeing field activitiesChecking technical designs and drawings to meet project specifications & standardsSupervising subcontractor staffEnsuring project packages execution meet agreed specifications and timescalesLiaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staffProviding technical advice and solving problems on sitePreparing site reports and filling in paperworkEnsuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered toPreparing and issuing all needed permit to worksChecking necessary safety documents
Functie-eisen
Proven experience in engineering and constructionMinimum 10 years of work experience in the (petro-) chemical sectorA valid VCA VOL certificate and a good safety awarenessSound knowledge of engineering, construction, and designGreat leadership and organizational skillsSuperb project management skillsAbility to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projectsGreat written and verbal communication skillsA willingness to learnA driver’s licenseGood understanding of English in speaking and writing and fluent in DutchReal team playerWilling to work in a small, flexible and enthusiastic international teamWorking outside standard hours must be possible
