Geo Data Operations is looking to grow our technical writing team.
You will work on a team with other technical writers to create documentation for the teams.
These include the mechanical engineers, software support, field technicians, logistics, operations, and everyone in between.
Our technical writers work on assembly manuals, troubleshooting guides for hardware and software, processes and workflow documentation, operation manuals, spec sheets and more!
Who We Are Looking For The technical writers we are looking for are self motivated and can manage their workloads independently.
They will be comfortable around machinery and understand basic mechanics and the tools used when building and repairing cars.
Things move fast around here and we need someone who can keep up and make sure our documentation stays fresh and up to date.
We encourage creativity and welcome fresh ideas for how we convey and maintain knowledge.
The right candidate will have an insatiable thirst for learning new things and the ability to push themselves beyond expectations.
Responsibilities:
Write, publish and maintain high-quality help content for online and print publishing.
This includes written, video and graphical content (diagrams, flow charts, and logos)
Manage the production and publishing of documentation Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, Field and Repair Technicians Identify user needs, use cases and metrics to focus priorities.
Audit existing documentation against current processes and make revisions appropriately.
Assist with capturing knowledge, ideas, and decisions and documenting them in useful ways.
Review existing document control and folder structure
Functie-eisen
-Bachelor’s Degree, preferable in technical area or a related field.
-2+ years Proven experience working in a technical writing position
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Effective critical thinking, organizational, creative and teamwork abilities
-Writing skills that include logically organizing information and creating error-free documentation.
-Continuously improve documentation by responding to and incorporating feedback from customers and internal users.
-Ability to create, revise and maintain process flow, templates, how-to guides, functional and technical documentation and change control documentation.
-Experience with ticketing systems (such as Zendesk or Help Scout).
-Willingness and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Hands on experience with professional photography equipment
What you can expect from Adecco?
- Hour rate €15.00,-
- 25 holiday days on an annual basis (with full-time employment)
- 8% holiday allowance
- Your salary paid every Wednesday or Thursday
