Functieomschrijving
As Turnaround Scheduler you will develop, communicate, and maintain a workable turnaround schedule using Primavera P6 by interacting with our customers, partners, vendors and contractors. You will work with our project leadership including the turnaround management team, craft supervision, planning, engineering, safety, quality, procurement and plant operations personnel to provide detailed project-level planning that ensures time and cost-efficient turnaround execution.
PRE-TURNAROUND
Input Work Plans into schedule as developed by the plannerWork with Turnaround Planner to establish: Resources, All Activity Codes; (i.e. Systems, Work Type, Equipment Type, etc), Calendars, P6 back-up procedure and carry out, Logic Ties, Reporting, Histograms, Reports, Management Process and LayoutsRun and Re-Run Schedule in order to Fix Duration, Smooth Out/Level Resource Profile, Manipulate Working Patterns, Manipulate Work SequenceUsing Data Generated, Produce an Initial Proposal for The Following: Work Plan, Budget, Duration, Resource Profile and Working PatternsProgress and maintain Turnaround Planning Milestone ScheduleSet Baseline/Target Schedule(s) after all work has been inputted and following the turnaround freeze date
TURNAROUND
Progress and maintain Turnaround Execution ScheduleClosely monitor critical path and keep Turnaround Management aware of statusCheck validity of progress that is turned in, by conducting field walks of the workPrint and distribute daily working schedules and three-shift lookaheadsAfter updating, level, then view histogram over allocations, and inform Turnaround Coordinator and Turnaround Superintendent of status
POST TURNAROUND
Follow all post turnaround file close-out proceduresTrack progress of post turnaround activitiesAttend and participate in post turnaround critiqueFinalize Turnaround ScheduleInclude Target vs. Actual information in closuresActualize activities for final file back-ups
Functie-eisen
Minimum MBO level 4 (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Project Management or relatedExcellent English language skills, Dutch language is a plus.3 years of scheduling experience with preferably some years of turnaround experienceOracle Primavera P6Understanding of productivity, earned value and reporting progressProvide Key Performance indicators from P6 reporting capabilitiesAdvanced computing skills with working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite of productsAbility to collaboratively lead project planning and scheduling meetings with any variation of project team participantsAble to perform a critical path analysis and report on the path(s)Experience working in an operating facility
