Youll be a core member of our team, and administer the pre-planning, production and execution of launch deliverables.
We are looking for a designer who is interested in designing and specifying user interface applications, together with development of CRM, Supplier Management and Business Products.
This is a hybrid role between web technologies and business.
You
have an eye for clean and artful design, possess good UI UX skillscan translate high-level requirements into interaction flows, wireframes and artifactscan transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfacesunderstand and balance the costs of design implementation
You have an understanding of and are competent in several of the following:
User Research: conducting user interviews, interviews, behaviour analysisInformation Architecture: how to organise site content, how search should work, what labels to use on menusContent: copywriting, how to structure content to be deployed on different devices, microcopy on headings & buttonsInteraction Design: what screens should go where in an app, and how a user flows through them. Also transitions between screens, often inspired by real-world paradigms (page curls, sliding windows etc.)Visual Design: typography, layout, colour, graphics, visual effects, imagery, texture, moodOrganisation: planning, organising and controlling a UXprojectIntegration: HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc principles to implement a visual design in the context of suitable applications and plugins such as Wordpress and AmemberOnline marketing: marketing activities like sales copy, conversion rates of landing pages, email campaigns, web analytics, SEO, and integrating sales with blog content
Responsibilities
Produce concept layouts from a brief, and develop these concepts, based on feedback.Finish designs to a detailed levelCreate written or wireframe specifications (ideally with notation) for developers to implementConstruct prototypes, workflows, wireframes, storyboards, and mockups to effectively communicate interaction designDeliver a user interface to the UI development team, ideally including visualization and graphic designWork with developers to communicate specifications, ensurecorrect implementation and solve any problems encounteredConduct usability testing and integrate results into the next iteration of UI designInterface with clients to collect and verify requirementsInterface with other designers to collaborate on site designsInterface with site developers to manage the development of sitesInterface with content developersReport to project leaders and stakeholders
Requirements
An eye for detailing, aesthetics, color, and typographyConcept research, usability & trend study, persona study, and mappingAbility to effectively communicate and convince, how the user experience will impact the overall product experience.Ideally have some proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or a wireframing tool like Balsamiq or OmniGraffle, with experience of working in DesignThis isn't a coding role, but we'd expect a familiarly with SQL, HTML, CSS etc.You ideally have understanding of full stack development,You should have problem-diagnosis and creative problem-solving skillsWorked on projects related to application UI UX.

Location
Intern roles are fully online internships, meaning that you m
ust be proficient in, and have access to, a home office and a good internet connection and be well versed in collaboration
and communication concepts and technologies. Although you w
ill be in constant electronic communication with the team, you should be self sufficient and happy to work unsupervised and possibly unaccompanied, for most of the day.
Schedules
You will be assessed by your completed deliverables, not by the
time you spend, so what you get out is what you put in. Part of your challenge will be to apply and calibrate your judgement to maintain an equilibrium.
You will be expected to work on various projects for 24 weeks, 40
hours per week, Monday to Friday. Nevertheless, flexibility is provided and expected, to meet the needs of collaboration and you should be prepared to manage an extremely flexible schedule that may include late nights and weekends.

Reimbursement
As there are no travel or clothing requirements and appli
cants are able to use their own equipment, there will be only limited reimbursement and only on a pre-agreed basis.
Assessment & Accreditation
Intern roles will be continually assessed, resulting in
an intern evaluation and commercial certification upon completion, but do not qualify for academic accreditation.
