Then Nutreco has a very interesting role as an Application Engineer for you. As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of assigned applications from both a functional and security standpoint. Therefore, knowledge about one or more applications such as Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, database applications or user management is needed for this position. You will be responsible for accurately processing incidents, changes, and requests from users, resolving them in a timely manner and within agreed service levels, both in terms of functionality and technical issues. Additionally, you will be involved in projects to roll out new applications within Nutreco and improve existing applications. You will also be tasked with supporting the user organization and performing maintenance and management tasks for applications, while contributing to the design and implementation of new ICT solutions. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in maintaining the high level of performance and reliability of the applications under your care. What are your key accountabilities? • Specify and quantify capacity requirements of the technical infrastructure and translate the functional design into a technical design• Take care of the daily management and optimization of the applications, including execution of High Availability tests and Quality tests.• Perform system testing, configure standard software and optional acceptance testing• Resolve incidents and process changes on functional and technical area within the application by directing suppliers and/or self-executing activities• Analyse problems, conduct improvements and identify trends• Support the user organization by solving incidents, introducing new or custom solutions, and providing information and/or directions What we offer As Nutreco our mission is ‘feeding the future’.
