Job description
Are you a coach, always looking for improvements in service and guest orientation and are you able to inspire a team and take it to a higher level?
Are you looking for a job with responsibility in which you can apply your managerial capacities but also provide variety through contact with guests and flexible working hours? Then you might be our colleague who makes a great contribution to our hotel.
In the function of Deputy manager you are responsible for the operational course of business within the F&B department, Front Office, housekeeping, breakfast, bar and technical service. You are also the contact person for the cleaning company.
Your focus is on guaranteeing a high-quality service and on monitoring the efficiency, productivity and profitability of the departments.
This function has a heavy operational character where you will be constantly present on the work floor.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Determining the right staffing within the F&B department, recruiting and selecting new employees, coaching and supervising the team, ensuring the correct working and performance appraisal and assessment interviews
Ensure correct inventory management
Coordinate and monitor the work within the departments
Daily checking of rooms and public spaces for neatness
Point of contact for guests, including the handling of guest comments
Contribute to improving the formula, quality and return
Support for departments as front office during absence relevant Front Office Manager
Responsible in the absence of the General Manager
